ChromaZone

House band, ChromaZone has been performing at Harry’s Bar since 1992. The band was originally formed by bandleader / guitarist - Rick Smith. Other members include bassist - Christy Smith, drummer - Ed Layman and pianist - Nick Lee.

Firmly grounded in mainstream Jazz, the band is no less at home with Motown, R&B, fusion and down & dirty blues. While the band is a unit with an identity and voice of its own, its unique function in Harry’s is to support the series of vocal artists that are featured at Harry’s, each with their own soulful styling.

The band hosts the International Jam Session on Sundays and has been joined by the likes of Tom Schuman (Spyro Gyra), Wynton Marsalis, Wes Anderson, Paul Jackson Jr, Eric Marinthiel, Teranwsa Hiao, Louis Pergasam, Jeremy Montiero and many more.

The quality of performance is only matched by the fun the band has on stage which is to be felt on their LIVE @ Harry’s CD.  Harry’s Bar is reputedly the best place on the island for jazz. ChromaZone the in-house jazz band is a venerable symbol intricately associated with the bar. Their musical versatility ensures a loyal crowd of regulars.

Spanning the many styles of jazz from straight-ahead traditional jazz to superb vocalists to the distinctive sound of jazz guitar. On Sundays, aspiring musicians gather for a special jam session from 9pm to midnight.

Alma Latina

Alma Latina consists of four musicians of different backgrounds.

They are:
Nassir Khan - Guitars (Electric/Acoustic) and Vocals
Manuel Campos - Bass and Vocals
Roberto Cantelli - Keyboard and Vocals
Navin Kumar - Percussions

They have been together for the past five years. Individually, they have been with many different bands playing different style of music.

Alma Latina belts out mainly Spanish, Latin and World Music. As a group, Alma Latina has been playing at various venues in Singapore, such as Raffles Hotel, Harry's Bar, Goodwood Park Hotel, Brannigans, Latin Concerts, Guitar Festivals, Amara Hotel and many more. They also did numerous tours around this region and also some parts of Europe.

Tania

This legendary "Singapore" band breathed its first in the late 70's, 1976 to be precise.

Fronted by long time musical and entertainment stalwarts Alban De Souza and Zul Sutan, the current line-up consists of Mansoor "Al-Hallaj" on
keyboards, Ibrahim Zainal on bass guitar, Zainal Abidin on drums and Brian Paul on sax/blues harp.

For the past 19 years, Tania have been performing at "Anywhere" club in Tanglin Shopping Centre. They have now moved on and is now performing at Harry's @ Orchard, songs from legends like Santana, the Beatles, Dire Straits, the Eagles and many more!

Paul Ponnudorai

Paul Ponnudorai is recognized as one of the best singer-cum guitarists in the Asia-Pacific region. In his quarter century as a musician, he has been involved in almost every aspect of the music industry. He has performed with Grammy Award winners - Eldee Young (Ramsey Lewis Trio), Billy Cobham, and most recently, Wynton Marsalis. He has also had the privilege of sharing the stage with Tuck & Patti, Tommy Emmanuel and others. He has had stints with the late Surdiman, Sheila Majid, Zainal Abidin and musicians such as Michael Veerapen and sitarist Samuel J. Dass. He also has performed in Scandinavia, Hong Kong and Australia.

If you're still unconvinced of his six-string artistry, yearning croon and a penchant for bluesy pop, just ask him to play his original composition "A Bad Case Of You". It's a touching love song that makes you want to hold tight to your loved ones and fall in love all over again. With music like that, you know love does make the world go round.

Paul Ponnudorai stands out with his versatility. Country, Rock, Blues, R&B, Folk, Classical - you name it, he can sing and play it.

Del Ja'afar

An artiste raised in between Singapore & Indonesia, Del’s earliest musical influences came in listening to her family’s aclectic record collection which ranges from traditional music to western music. The nobility of her singing is rooted in her childhood inspired by her grandmother, theatrical dancer and brother, a multi- instrumentalist. Music being a pervasive presence in her upbringing, she studied classical guitar, flute, trumpet and music theory in school. She delivers her music with passion and sparkling elegance, painting a landscape with a voice and style that spans in many different languages namely English, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, French, Indonesian, Mandarin and Malay.

Derek & Derrick

Derek & Derrick performs with vocals and guitar. Simple and painfully sincere, this acoustic duo has been playing regularly in local bars/pubs for less than a year. Expect a sweet mix of rock & pop ballads and an occasional pinch of oldies.

Jazz In A

Made up of guitarist Alvin Khoo and singer Sara Wee, this musical duo started off at a friend's pub and has been playing and performing together for almost three years now.

Developed initially as a Jazz-only team, their repertoire has expanded rapidly and now comprises of Contemporary Pop tunes, Acoustic Modern Rock songs, Blues, and not forgetting their signature Jazz standards.

Randolf Arriola

Randolf Arriola - Lead Vocals and guitar
Randolf has entertained audiences nightly since the late 80s, at legendary local clubs Woodstock, California Jam, Subway, Branigan's, Top 10, Sparks and Fire as lead guitarist for rock outfit Ying Yang and later for one of Singapore's premier pop showbands, Steeky Dust.

In 1995 his band Naked opened for Sheryl Crow at the Sentosa Amphitheatre, and in '96 Randolf performed at Sparks with American popster Tommy Page.

Offstage, Randolf lent his talents to numerous indie band recordings for local artists, contributing songwriting, production, engineering and session guitar work.
