The Expedition explained

Following the footsteps of 1955 The Last Overland expedition, an expedition crew of 4, including a father and son, will set off on 6th August 2023, from London to Singapore. Along the way, the crew will visit three children's charities en-route and conclude their journey at Harry's Bar in Singapore.

​

The voyage will be fully carbon-offset, making it a trailblazing initiative within the overland expedition community.

Children’s Aid Society is Harry’s local children’s charity of choice. Harry’s will liaise directly with the charity, execute fundraising drives, and consolidate all donations from the different initiatives.

London to Singapore is the 'original' overland journey; the first expedition of two teams from Oxford and Cambridge tackled this journey in 1955, in two Land Rovers. Ours is only the second full-fledged 'expedition' to go from London to Singapore. In 2019 The Last Overland expedition successfully returned from Singapore to London.
